Alberta has no sales tax, but for the convenience of our website visitors, we have added the following links for information about provincial sales (PST) or harmonized sales (HST) taxes in other jurisdictions:

As of April 1, 2013, British Columbia returned to provincial sales tax (PST).
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are HST-participating provinces. In those provinces, the provincial sales tax and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) are collected as one tax - the HST, administered by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
