The Alberta Personal Income Tax Calculator was last updated on February 22, 2013, reflecting the 2012 tax system.

The tax calculator is intended to give you an estimate of your potential taxes at year-end, based on the limited information you provide and the assumptions set out on the tax calculator website.

The tax calculator cannot give you an accurate or official assessment of your 2012 tax liability.

To use the calculator, fill in the appropriate information. Once you've entered your information, use the "Back to Top" link or scroll up, and then click on "Tax Summary" or "2012 Calculations".  The results will display in a separate window.

Please note:  Personal Income Tax is administered by the Government of Canada.  Please direct your questions about your personal income taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency, or visit CRA’s “Get Ready” site.
