About the Office of Statistics and Information (OSI)
The OSI consolidates official statistics and other key government data, making information about the province available to Albertans in a user-friendly format. Having ready access to high-quality data and statistics helps government, business and the general population make better informed decisions.
The OSI is a government-wide service. By building upon the collective experience and skills of individual ministries, we provide a range of statistical products to meet the needs of Albertans and the Alberta government.
The Office of Statistics and Information Act was proclaimed on June 3, 2009, recognizing the Office of Statistics and Information (OSI) as the official provincial statistical agency for Alberta.
