Budgeting for Alberta
We asked Albertans to help build Alberta's budget.
What should we do with the money we're saving? Should we consider alternative financing?
Those were the kinds of questions the Government of Alberta asked Albertans, as we reached out again this year to identify your priorities for Budget 2013.
From October 9 to October 18, government held public open house sessions in 11 communities across Alberta. Additionally, we collected feedback through an online survey from October 1 to October 31.
Budget 2013 and quarterly updates
On March 7, the Alberta government introduced Budget 2013: Responsible Change. Three key areas of focus – building Alberta, building our savings and building our markets – are part of a prudent fiscal plan that addresses Albertans’ priorities now and in the future.
- 2013-14 Second Quarter Fiscal Update and Economic Statement (November 26, 2013)
- 2013-14 First Quarter Fiscal Update and Economic Statement (August 29, 2013)
